Our Awesome Veterans Organizations:

Take a Vet Fishing is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization that was created in 2011 to provide emotional support and rehabilitation to those who serve our great nation every day. The mission is simple, to show these men and women how much they mean to us and support them and their families with (emotional) PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) outings and trips. Not only do we show these heroes our gratitude and shake their hand, we hand them a fishing rod and ease their minds back into civilization.

Founded in 2007, our unique kayak fishing program allows the participants a chance to decompress from the stresses associated with combat and the physical rigors of rehabilitation. Warriors enjoy these benefits while on guided fishing trips held in local communities around the country.Heroes on the Water helps our Nation’s warriors and veterans from all branches of the United States military unwind using the therapeutic qualities of fishing from kayaks.

Founded in 2005, PHWFF is a unique, community-based, nonprofit 501(C)(3) volunteer organization dedicated to the physical and psychological rehabilitation of injured active-duty military personnel and veterans with disabilities. This is accomplished through the therapeutic and rehabilitative benefits of fly fishing, patience and relationship-building.

We Are a Veterans Charity and Community Outreach Organization Headquartered in Key Largo, Florida, The Long Walk Home provides outreach to our local community of Veterans and Citizens. We are entirely run by a staff of volunteers that are Veterans, spouses and family of Veterans or active duty military service members. Many of our volunteers and supporters have no military ties and come from all walks of life and have been touched to give back and make a difference in which they believe and can see.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
